My 95 camry 4dr. power windows on driver side has stopped working. could it be a fuse that needs replacing?

No it could be the wire in the door has a short, or the motor on that side is burnt out.

I have a 2000 Toyota Camry. The back, driver side window slides down on its own. Had someone to brace it in the up position so it wouldn't slide down. How can this be repaired? Thanks.

glass has gotten out of the window regulator track or a broken window regulator. have to remove door panel and now need to know if its power windows or hand rollup windows. if manual you will need to remove handle by removing c-clip from behind the handle.

2000 Toyota Camry Window Problem

ok. here is how you fix the problem. first and most important you have to get *****. then you have to spin around in circles 5 to 10 times depending on the day of the week your car was made on. then you take the door panel off the car. after taking the door panel off the car touch your nose and spin around a few more time, just for good measure. then last call the dealer to come tow your POS away and buy an American car. That should fix all your issues.

Install motor/regulator to 2000 camry solara

It easy ! You need a philips2_bing.gif and flat screw driver,8" X 4" block of wood and a needle nose pliar.
Use flat screw driver and pry out the two or three dust covers for the arm rest screws then use philips and remove the screws. Next use the flat screw driver and pry out the black plastic mirror cover from the inside of the door. Pry out the switch panel ( aka master switch panel) with the flat screw driver and disconnect it. On the side of the door panel just above the striker is this plastic push pull typeof a hold in screw. Use flat screw driver to get it to move a little then pull it out with the needle nose. Depending on which door your doing if you have a map folder ( driver or front passenger door) in the door there are two more screw to remove on the bottom of the door.
Now the inside door handle is tricky it comes out in two pieces. Use philips and get the only hold down screw you see out.( you may have to pry out al ittle screw cover first) Now the handle cover is removed by placeing the flat screw driver on the rear of the outside of the cover top and on the outside rear bottom to release the tangs that are holding it onto the panel.Pry it out lightly you may have to place the screw driver over the top of the door release button and pry that way. Don't loose your cool its a pain but it will fall out. Once its removed unhook the panel.

Next lift the plastic cover and remove the six gold2_bing.gif bolts first(For motor and regulator) Then push the window down till you see the two bolts holding the window to the regulator .Remove them, BEFORE YOU PULL OUT THE MOTOR AND REGULATOR YOU WILL SEE TWO TANGS THAT HELP HOLD THE REGULATOR AND MOTOR TO THE DOOR MARK THE RELOCATION , NOW pull out the motor and regulator have an assistant hold up the glass while you place the two blocks of wood to hold up the window. Now order your regulator and installation is in reverse. Good luck kate. Keep me posted.

Power window (rear one) not working for toyota camry 2000

ok. First does the winow operate when controlled from the drivers door. If yes but not from the rear door then the rear door switch has come unplugged or the switch is faulty. Now if the window does not operate from either switch. Verify that there is voltage at the rear door switch, if so and then operate the switch and check for voltage reaching the window motor. If voltage is present the replace the motor

2000 Toyota Camry Window Problem

Sorry to strike your hopes on this one, but it is not a fuse problem. If there was a blown fuse, the window motor would not get any voltage at all and would neither roll up nor down.

Now, the good news is that you can order an after-market window motor and regulator for a very reasonable price, for example just $44.95 delivered from www.AM-autoparts.com for your 2000 Camry. If you are just moderately handy, you can remove the interior door panel and replace the part yourself. Or, you can take it to an auto glass shop and they will replace it for you. The charge should be about one hour's labor.

Automatic window

Most likely the motor for the power window is worn out.
It's not that uncommon to replace these motors over time.
The motor is most likely over heating doing the job going one direction. Then, have to cool down to go the other direction. Hot and cold temperatures outside will play a factor on a worn-out window motor as well.
