Question about 2006 Nissan Xterra
I have a 2006 nissan xterra and it keeps dying. i replaced the battery, and all the inside lights works fine. I took it to a mechanic and he said he believed it was something to do with the computer, but he was unable to fix it. I now have to get it towed for the 2nd time to a dealership. When I would start it, it or may not run for a bit, then it would mist and make a clicking noise before dying. I have no idea what it could be, I know its not the battery. Please if anyone has any suggestions that would be great!
If it dies while driving it may be a a crank sensor. If it dies when you take your foot off the gas cruising it most likely an Idle Air Control valve. Either way this should still be under warenty if it is the computer. All emission related parts are covered for 4 years. This includes the computers
