If you connect a scanner to the OBD2 port and the vehicle then runs fine? Then you have a problem with a ground. Top of the DLC is pin 4 and 5 that is the ECM body ground. pin 16 is battery volts 12vlts.

check the injectors with a noid light you may find a bad one. if not check the compression.
