If its to be recalled then mercedes will contact you or you could ringvthe mercedes dealer and ask them if its a recall it free of charge as they pay for it but with it being a 2007 car not sure if yhey would honour this as the xars 10 year old but i would still ring to fibd out ( shy lads get nothing ) lol

there is no other option...as long as the light is on there is a chance the airbag will either not work in an accident or it may deploy without warning. how many miles do you have on the vehicle??? there is a chance if you contact chrysler customer relations they may assist in the repairs.

Unfortunately, there's no definite answer.. It is most likely there is a crack somewhere. Either the crack is with a seal, or it could be a crack with the block itself...

If you take off the plastic panel under your car, you will see the oil drain nut, here you can open it to drain all the oil. It takes about 8 quartz to fill it up. Use the synthetic oil 0W 30 if possible. Open the hood, There is a nice plastic cover with the Mercedes logo on it. You lift it up and pull toward you. Once it is out you will see the Oil filter right in the front. It is too much hassle to go underneath the car to take out the plastic panel to access the oil drain nut and put it pack when you done, that why you can see $300 cost at the dealer. You may want to consider buying the MityVac Fluid Evacuator 7201 to remove the oil from the top without removing the panel from the bottom. Have fun in doing it.

The easiest way to do this is to take the car to autozone and have them hook up the handheld diagnostic center and clear this from the ecu this is a free service that they provide ok?
