You have to replace the whole motor and regulator assembly. That is the only way to get it from Ford.

The local dealer was very helpful in figuring this problem out. There is a clip in the ball part of the arm. When removed, the arm releases very easily.

Did you check for power at the main switch either before or after changing ?
This is the Light Blue w/ Black stripe wire on the switch connector, pin # 8. You need to have the truck in the run / accessory key position for power to get to here.
If you do not have power, 2 places to look.
1. The rubber boot that the wires run between the door and the a-pillar. This could be a broken wire in there, seen it 2 other times.
2. Problem with the accessory delay relay. You can check the socket of the relay for power on pin # 30. If need be, you can jumper the normally open contacts out, and see if this cures the problem ( bad relay )
