It is an electrical problem.
you need to take out the ignition module and have it tested for free at autozone.
the module is getting hot and turning off.

thank you

Do the basics, you are loosing fuel or spark. When it dies, you need to quickly install a spark tester on one of your plug wires to see if you have spark while turning over engine, while it still won't start.

Cranks but wont start

Whenever your car won't start, it is either fuel, spark, or air. In your case, because it died while driving and won't run very long, I think it's spark. I would guess that your alternator is no longer providing enough voltage to charge the battery, hence your battery acting like it's dead, and your car not wanting to run long when you do get it started. Use a multimeter to check the voltage coming from the alternator when the car is running. It should be 14.5V or so. If it is down around or lower than 13, replace the alternator.

Car randomly wont turn on/bogs down and dies

Could be a bad engine ground connection. There should be a cable connected between the engine block and the frame. If this is loose, it could cause intermittent failure of your ignition and your starter to operate properly.

Car runs and drives but 10-15 miles it dies and wont run until cools off

Dear Sir,
As you said your car stop after 10-15 miles run.and start working after 10 to 15 min wait.
It can occur due a part or unit which defer working according to temperature. it means it stop working when it got hot and start working when it get cold. this type of parts are motors which have winding unit inside it, which can stop working in high temperature, it will not happen if they are good working condition but if that is got short then it can happen.
In your case cause is the fuel pump which is in fuel tank,Till it is cold it supply the fuel to engine but after few miles run it stop sending fuel to engine ,after wait for 10 to 15 it again start sending fuel to engine when it get cold.
Fuel pump will solve your problem. if any issue please let me know. Thanks.

98 saturn sl1 won't start

If the problem occurs after the car has been driven long enough to reach normal operating temperature, the problem is the starter. If the 'no crank' occurs cold, retest the battery.

Just to confirm: your car has the "FS" engine - 1991cc double overhead cams?
built on the Mazda "GE" platform?
does your car have an "engine check light" or "MIL" on the dashboard? if so where and what does it look like and what does do ? ie: comes on when ignition is turned on & goes out after engine starts. or comes & goes out after x seconds. etc etc
are you 5sp manual or auto trans?

does your car have a diagnostic plug with a flip open lid just behind the battery near the front left suspension tower?

I have a 2000 VW Golf 2.0L petrol. Occasionally when you start the car it turns itself off. Once it is started again it shakes as if fuel is not getting through, have to accellerate to prevent car from...

This is a common occurance on vw's, you need to check for vacuum hose leaks, this is the cause.
Volkswagen engines rely heavily on vacuum and if there is one cut hose, or one small leak, your car will run like this.
If you can keep it running with the hood up, start listening for vacuum leaks around your hoses on both sides.
Most vacuum leaks occur near the front of the engine bay.
