Check your starter,then module ,alturnator,ignition switch

    You can look at the connection and touch make sure there is a strong connection,clean your battery cables get a new battery. Then you need to have a mechanic to check the other stuff. Get a tune up every year

Replacing ignition switch

If you have to jump start the car, it had to be either the batter or a connection problem with the battery cables. Having to jump start a vehicle does not have much to do with the ignition switch, unless you are having to jump power to another location to get the car to crank.

You have a charging / electrical discharge fault....unless you are competent to measure voltages and chech charge rates then leave it to the experts...the local garage.

You said you checked your battery, did you check volts and amps? It's possible that your battery is not functioning properly. You may need a new one. Does it start if you try to jumpstart it?
