My 99 dodge durango idles @1500 when i start it then when i rev it up past 2000 it stays idling @ 2000

Check for vacuum leaks, this is a common problem on the durango. Unmetered air enters the engine and creates a high idle condition.

After replacing the rack and pinion the air bag light won't go out, the horn works but the cruise does not work 2000 dodge durango

I believe what has happened is: While the column was disconnected from the steering gear someone, even by accident, has turned the wheel (from center), in either direction, more than it normally would when connected. This has damaged or broken the "clocking spring". It may also have damaged the cruise connections. These are located in the steering wheel, under the air bag. The clocking spring tells the system the relative position of the wheel which determines if it is safe to fire the bag, in the event of an accident severe enough to activate the system. This is a complicated repair, and should done by a qualified mechanic.
Don't beat yerself up about it!! People do this everyday.

My 2000 tundra will only blow hot air on my feet, but not all the middle vents. Any ideas whats is wrong here?

Check for a vacum leak under hood on passenger side by fire wall, look for vacum hose going into fire wall, make sure it has vacum.

2005 cobalt leak @heater core cover under dash

if you have air condition, check in the engine compartment on the fire wall under the air condition for a drain hose it may be blocked and that is causing the water to backup and leak inside the car.

No air from dash vents

They are vac. controled. The leak could be behind the controls, but first check under the hood usually near the fire wall and check for any cracked or broken vac. lines and repair as necc. this should solve your problem. The vac. lines under the hood go bad first due to engine heat. If you have a length of line to replace make sure you use vac. line so it wont collapse. Soft softs in vac. lines is another sign of a bad line replace these also.

Wanting to replace air compressor on 1999 durango.

Air compressors very seldom become defective. However, if you wish to tackle the job make sure the freon is removed from the unit by loosening the high pressure valve. I would suggest you take it to a shop and have it repaired. Purchase what ever you need from the internet. Purchased all the parts to redo my 1966 mercury from Ebay, saved $400 hired expert to do the job for $200. Tools for replacing are expensive you would come out better by having it done. May be a small problem, such as the dryer, or low freon, or a leak Most shops will diagnosis the problem for free or a small charge. Or you could check the unit by adding a leak detector using the low side of the air condition unit. The low side is the lareer of th two lines in the unit.
