SOURCE: need wiring diagram

Go to autozone.com and register they have good wiring diagrams for your truck. What I saw was all the relays going to ground so you should have 12V coming off the ignition switch.

SOURCE: 1995 nissan pickup truck fuel problem

Fuel injected or carb? Make sure fuel line itself is clear. Some pumps are designed to self regulate (carb systems) some continually pump and a psi regulator sends back the excess fuel back to the tank (fuel inj systems) If the line is obstructed then pump can't deliver fuel fulltime.

If you think pump is not on consistent, try running a dedicated wire through a switch directly to the pump. If it works then you are looking for an electrical fault going to pump. Good luck.

Brake lights don't come on.

Hi Hot rod,I have a 85 nissan 720 4x4,had her for 22 years,am looking at my fsm manual,it is showing, power from battery going thru a fusible link at positive side of battery going to stop lamp switch to A,S,C.D. controller, also,it is showing power leaving positive side of battery, going thru another fusible link going to A,S.C.D relay then going to A.S.C.D inhibitor relay then stop switch, then to A.S.C.D. controller,it has a stop lamp switch at pedal and another stop light on another circut, both go to the A,S,C,D contoller, hmmm, years ago,my stop light switch went bad on my brake pedal, replaced and if was fixed.Take a look at my Nissan if you want, also if you want me to take pics of the diagram I am looking at I will. 85 Nissan 720 4x4 2 4 Weber conversion

My 97 Nissan p/u 2.4 automatic will not turn over. Ihad the alternator. battery and starter all tested. I have checked and swapped relays, fuses, and I have checked wiring. Still won't turn ov

run a wire direct to the starter motor to see if it work if so then the fault could be in the ignition switch itself ,but as this is a auto check the inhibitor switch as well

Inhibitor relay

No, the inhibitor relay is to prevent cranking when not in park or neutral. You will have to look elsewhere for the no start. Check fuel pressure, and check spark.

The beast wont start on the key, battery ok , ign switch ok, blue relay on fuse box clicks when key turned , no clicks from under bonnet, connectors inspected cleaned etc no voltage drop at battery when...

Hello! The Inhibitor relay is more than likely not pulling...If the vehicle is an automatic the selector switch passes battery when in park on a yellow wire to the relay...If a standard the clutch switch passes ground...if manual, relay is called clutch interlock...located under hood...passenger side fender...Automatic...called interlock relay...drivers side fender to the right of air intake...diagram may be to small to read but I'm limited on size...Light Green wire on clutch switch supplies ground when switch is closed pulling relay...Yellow wire off gear selector switch (park) supplies battery to the inhibitor relay...Wish I knew if your vehicle was man. or auto...See if proper batt. or gnd. is present to pull relay...If proper potential is present and the relay does not pull it is defective...Send a comment...

I have a 1990 nissan truck it want turn over has new battery starter what else should i cheak

There should be a pretty big repaly on the inside of the engine compartment. its mounted on the side of the fender inside of the engine compartment. its brown in color. it should be on the left (drivers) side of vehicle. it has 2 connectors going to it. replace it. pretty common issue. that is the inhibitor relay, which is in the starting circuit. good luck.
