Hi, Could anyone help me locate the radiator fan relay for my 1990 Diahatsu Applause xi sedan.

There are 2 unidentified relays over the fuses located under the driver's dash side. They are the only ones I can find at the moment...thanks for any help.

I'm not familiar with the car ,but , look under the bonnet ( hood ) and there should be another fuse box relay tray that has the heavy current/ voltage fuses relays in there .

SOURCE: 1990 camry power window problem

It is rare that the power window relay will fail. Personally, I would look to see if there is power at the master switch on the driver's door. Anywhere. If the is NO POWER, you have a broken wire between the door & the LF kick panel where the wires come thru the body into the door shell. If there is power, the master switch is narmally the culprit

SOURCE: Radiator cooling fan fuse location for Ford Taurus

The cooling fan on a ford car usually does not have a fuse. The cooling fans are controlled by a relay in the power distribution box inside the engine compartment. The box is usually located near the battery. Your owners manual should have a guide showing you what each relay in the box is for.

2005 gmc yukon fan relay location

In the under hood fuse / relay box ! There are three of them COOLFAN/relay 1-2-3 . It's marked on the under side of fuse box lid .
The engine cooling fan system consists of 2 electrical cooling fans and 3 fan relays. The relays are arranged in a series/parallel configuration that allows the powertrain control module (PCM) to operate both fans together at low or high speeds. The cooling fans and fan relays receive battery positive voltage from the underhood fuse block.

What causes both cooling fans to not run?

Hi Naomi , there is a lot involved in the control of the cooling fans on your vehicle ! There are three fuse's , three relays an a fan control unit !
1. radiator fan main relay , located in underhood relay box A
2.condenser fan relay , located in underhood relay box A
3.radiator fan relay , located in underhood relay box C
4.Cooling fan fuse # 47 20amp. underhood fuse / relay box
5.condenser fan fuse # 50 20amp in underhood fuse / relay box.
Any one of these could cause them to not work, rather then just replacing parts an wasting money you should take it to the repair shop !

Fan relay location in fuse box?

It depends on if you have the coupe or 4 door sedan as to a location. In the coupe I didn't see a relay but I did however see a fuse for the radiator fan in the engine compartment fuse box/power distribution center. The fuse I am talking about is in the number 2 position in that box (see picture off layout below). If it's the sedan I did see both a high & low speed radiator fan relay as well as a 40 amp fuse for the radiator fan. The high relay is located in the number 35 position and the low is in the number 34. the 40 amp fuse is located in the number 12 position in that same box (see picture of layout below). These are also in the engine compartment fuse box/power distribution center. I hope this helps and good luck,

I bought a new relay for the radiator fan (1990 Olds Cutlass Supreme), it cost me $5. The coolant has gotten as high as 240 degrees and still the fans don't kick on. Problem is, I don't know where the...

the fan relay is activated from the ECM which gets the message from the coolant temperature sensor to switch the fans on ( more than likely the problem)
they should be running at 85 c or well before 212 F so check fuses (2) for failure and check for power to the relay as well to check if the fans are spinning freely
the fan relay will have an emblem on the cover and be situated next to the battery in the big block of relays

Need manual to concord

The fan gets it's signal from the engine temp sensor, located near the
thermostat housing. There are also 2 relays for the fan hi + lo located
on the fan shroud(2.7 eng.) and for the 3.5 eng. in the fuse/relay block
near the radiator expansion tank. Hope this helps.
