I have for my son a skidoo mini z. the motor runs good but the track is frozen. we lifeted it up and you can't even hand pull it.

Just take a phillips screw driver, and a good sturdy putty knife, and your fingers, and just pry the plastic away from the metal of the door...

Open the door first, and where the inside door handle there should be 1 or 2 screws, and one near where the handle is to open the door from the inside. Take these out first before attempting to pry off the door panel. The panel is held onto the door by plastic snaps shaped like an enlongagted tooth.

Use COMMON SENSE AND BE GENTLE YET FIRM....

Don't be surprised if you have to get a whole new window motor assembly, alot of times they come as one assembly and seperate parts do not exist. Good Luck!!

Pressure valve? does it only do it to only one side? Left or right. The reason you move both tracks with the bucket running is because you relieve pressure. One side is free wheeling, As they call it. I work on cars, But also have done to many hydraulic components. You have a pressure control valve that is bad.

Could be: a) starter cannot turn the motor flywheel (motor frozen or jammed)
or b) the battery is weak (not enough power to crank the motor)

Turn the dome light on and see if it is bright, see if light diminishes completely when engaging starter (high current drawn by starter).

Try to turn engine by pulling the alternator belt with transmission in neutral to see if motor is jammed. Or engage in a high gear and push the car and see if motor turns.

If motor is not frozen, jump and boost the battery if you suspect weak battery and see if you have the same problem.

1999 Toyota rear window off tract and will not stay up

HI,
I just had the same problem. What happened is the joint on the track must be broke. What you will need is a new track which you can change yourself it is really simple took me about 20 minutes. Just go to your local autozone and purchase the track. I would recommend to change the motor as well so your not back at it later down the road but that your call. Either way all you have to do is change the track. I hope this helps.

check for something jamming the track under seat , try havin son push seat forward while pushin switch . i dont know of a way to override the seat motor if its dead,,auto wreckers for seat replacement cheapest way to go they may even install

VW was fixing this issue free a while ago, you should check with them. the glass pulls out of the window rail clamps.

You can try with disconnected battery ground cable, battery is fitted under front right side seat, whether it's left hand drive or right hand drive, if not work have a good look is there any switch stuck on command if one switch stuck it won't be operating, if one stuck after press you have to pull it back then it will work, is this information helped you

it is much easier to replace the motors then to deal with having them off the tracks and chancing breaking the windows when you go over a bump you can usually find the window motors on ebay for under $20
