It is a bad blower motor resistor and it is mounted on the bottom of the A/C heater housing on the passenger side of the vehicle under the glovebox area. Hope this helps. Please rate this a fixya if it helps. Thanks.

it is called blower motor resistor , should be close to blower motor , you will see a plug type connector with two screws , remove the screws and there should be a resistor inside the cover for the motor, swap with new and reassemble

THE BLOWER UNIT IS LOCATED IN PASSENGER COMPARTMENT ABOVE THE RIGHT FRONT FOOT WELL.YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT LINER.THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR AND THE AND THE RIGHT LOWER DASH PANEL.THEN YOU CAN REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR SCREWS AND BLOWER MOTOR.

Yes it is the blower Motors Resistor board. It is up behind the blower motor, just under the glove box. You have to remove the black KICK panel with its two "Push Pins" that will break too. There are 3 screws holding that resistor board in, the back two are a bear to get to. Good luck.
