Question about 2002 Daewoo Lanos

Blinker works intermittently

My blinker on a 2000 Daewoo Lanos works intermittently. All of a sudden it just won't work and then it'll maybe work again in a few minutes or I have to turn the car off for a few minutes and then it works again. Sometimes when I turn the blinker knob to the right or left, you hear sort of a grinding or squeaking when the blinker light is not on. thank you for any help.

but sometimes the blinker won't work at all no matter if I move the handle in either direction. Is changing a flasher hard?

More than likely u have a bad flasher. to use it in the meantime, do this: push the lever just enuff to see the arrow flashing (before it starts buzzing), then hesitate briefly and slowly move the lever into the full position. or if u prefer u can hold the lever at the flash until your turn is made.

The blinkers and brake lights on my daewoo Lanos not working

Hello. As you know, this car was only made for six years by the Korean automaker. For some if not all of these cars the flasher is behind the instrument cluster. It is accessible through an access panel on the side of the dash by the driver's door. The flasher is most likely green on a violet block.
That said, in addition to the flasher being a possible culprit I would also suspect a relay, and a poor ground wire. Trace the ground wire from these lights to the frame of the car and make sure you have a good solid connection, with no corrosion. If the contact point is corroded relocate the ground screw and make sure that you have scraped and sanded the spot so you are contacting bare, clean metal.

2001 daewoo lanos, blinkers dont work

Here is some extra information on replacing the Daewoo Lanos indicator / hazard lights relay. Open the driver door, on the side of the dashboard there is an access panel. Flip it open with a screwdriver.
Now you can pull out a violet connector block. The relay is plugged into this block, it is green. You can just pull it out of the connector block and replace it by a new one. The part number is 96312545, and it has three pins, numbered 31, 49 and 49A.
Other specifications: 12V 2/4x21W. It is made by Daewoo / DECO. The same type of relay is used in the Daewoo Matiz. I picked up a used relay from an old Matiz for 2 euros and the indicator/hazard lights work like
a charm again. The whole replacement took about 2 minutes, but it took me days to get the used part. Probably other relays with these three pins will work too: google for "31 49 49A". Hope this is useful to other people who run into problems with the Daewoo Lanos indicator lights!

1990 Corolla blinkers working intermittently only

If the flasher ("blinker can") was bad, It would be rare that it would work intermittantly. We rarely change the fashers, they are pretty reliable. My suggestion to you is to check your turn signal switch. If the signals are not flashing, cycle the switch back to center & left/right; hold it in the "on position".... Do the lights the start to work? if so, replace the turn signal switch.

Blinkers work sometimes, sometimes they don't

Sounds like the flasher(which is your hazard switch) is failing.

BLINKERS NOT WORKING

Ok this a way different problem than i thought it was first thing to look at is the relays and fuses and connectors to make sure they are not loose, pull them out and reconnect them. Engine running = vibration. Engine not running = no vibration. If thats good your left light blinker may be shorted to your constant power. Your right blinker may have an intermittent open. I looked at turn signal flashers online they are about $10 each, maybe swap em out then return if it does not fix it. It really sounds like a wiring problem though so look at the back side of where the light is connector and tell me what you find if anything
Good luck
