On my 1991 S-10 the left side window has seporated from the regulator and does not track up and down
Hi Terry
first get your door panel off get all the screws and handles off bottons and pry easy from behind the bottom panel to pop off the plastic holders in the door assembly, then lift off the door move and insulation or plastic cover over the openings of the door. Now you will see the window and the trac what need is a very strong bonding glue the same Glue maybe at our automotive supply store, or that window repair place shops use, if you can get a tube of that you make sure your track is clean leave the felt that you find in the trac, do not remove it,,, fill the trac with a bead of this special silicone or bonding agent once you locate it,, thats when you should attempt to put the window back in the track when doing so put glass in the tract which is filled with this bond silocone type type glue lineup everything and wind the window up along with the window and make sure the window goes deep into the trac and is tight up in the closed pssition u maywant to put a block of wood just before raising the window so you can make sure the glass bottoms out in the trac remove block, and lock window in position dont use your window for a week just to be safe,,, it should cure and wont pop out of the tract, pay attention if your trac is not broken or screws or assembly came loose. You can fix tis no problem im sure
