Check your fuses. look at your owners manual for location, and see about a ecu or ecm. May also be called computer, as it will have a fuse for it. This can stop power getting to your data link connector.

I have a 2002 chrysler town & country just clicks when you turn the key

I just had the same problem. I had the transmission fixed 2 weeks ago and got into my car yesterday and it wouldn't start. it made the same sound and my battery was fine. A friend I know told me to check the wire to the starter. it is in the middle of the engine at the bottom front. he said they frequently do not push it all the way back on after repairs. my connection was actually broken. on the chrysler the connection is a push connection and most other cars it is a bolt. this could be your problem.

Is it important what size muffler and resonator, is replaced on a 2001 chrysler town and country V-6 engine? Sadly, I took my van to have a new muffler put on it. When the mechanic, called he also said...

Possible results are , increased fuel use, reduction in power and you may fail noise emissions (too much noise), some after market exhaust systems are designed to give improvements but these are general much more costly than standard fittings. I would not be happy myself and would want it put right, Not sure which country you are in so can't advise on trading standards, but in uk items must be fit for purpose or you get your money back.

Ticking coming from engine 2000 town and country

Ticking is usually a sign of improper oil level or exhaust leaks often have a ticking sound. Try to listen to see if its in time with the normal exhaust sounds. If the oil level is fine and it doesnt sound like the exhaust, its probably a small mechanical issue. Get it checked out by a mechanic before the ticking object breaks and becomes worse.

check the fuel filter connections first. If all ok, have a mechanic check it. If there is an evaporative leak, the check engine light should be on.

Engine light stays on in 2001 Town & Country

more electronics means more suceptible problems if this is a safety or emission prolem find the computer codes it will tell you the problem, the check engine light will flash a series of codes if it is a problem geting it to pass this will help if it is not a problem dont worry yourself let the light come on some cars allways have this problem if the car runs well take out the bulb if the light bothers you i suspect a dirty oxygen sensor malfunction
