Question about Dodge Ram
I know this sounds dumb but there is a cable attached to the same bracket as the throttle cable that goes to the transmission. This cable is called a kick down cable or a "down shift" cable. It tells the transmission when to down shift. If the car slows down and the trans doesn't down shift then the car can't turn the tires because it is in the wrong gear. Try replacing this and see if it will move better. Hope this helps. Good luck.
