Sounds like a broken brake line. The broken line has emptied your master cylinder leaving you no fluid and that's why the pedal goes to the floor. Very dangerour to drive in this condition, be careful.

MY SONS 1996 GRAND AM BRAKE PEDAL GOES TO THE FLOOR AND HISSING NOISE NOISE IS COMING FROM BOOSTER. IS THE BOOSTER BAQD IND NEED TO BE CHANGED ? THERE IS NO LOST OF BRAKE FLUID AT WHEEL CYLINDERS OR M

Based on your description, I would say yes the booster has failed. You usually unbolt the booster and master together, then separate them off the car. The bolts are around the brake pedal inside under the dash.
If you can unbolt the master and leave the lines connected you won't have to bleed the brake system. The lines may not be long enough tho.

Hissing brakes

IT is probably a vacuum leak in the brake booster. With the pedal going to the floor There is either no brake fluid or you will have to bleed the system. Replace the booster and bleed the brakes starting at the longest line first

When bleeding brakes have good pedal with engine off. with engine running pedal goes almost to the floor what is wrong

can you here a hissing sound when you push the brake while its running? if so then you have a bad brake booster, need to replace it, the hissing is actually the vacuum that builds within the booster escaping thru the seal in the booster

2001 ford escape makes a hissing and high pitched squealing sound when the brake pedal is released?

You need to have the brakes inspected. This noise is the brake pad wear warning tab hitting the brake rotor.;

Brake pedal goes to floor when first applied. Fluid within limits. No signs of leak(s). Hissing sound noted. No vibration.

Hissing sound indicates booster diaphragm has torn. Please let me know if you would like instructions for replacing the booster.

Had the same problem. I just replaced the brake booster unit, had a vaccuum leak out of where the push rod goes in. Solved.
