Question about GMC Canyon

I have a 2005 gmc canyon. Occassionally it will

I have a 2005 gmc canyon. Occassionally it will not completely crank. It turns over fine, not a battery or alternator problem, but will not "fire". It acts like a fuel pump problem, but if you give it 15 minutes it will fire up and run fine and may not do it but once or twice a month. Just aggravating. Any suggestions???

Hi I'm litoshop this problem sounds like a electrical problem next time this happens you have to check what elements are missing first I check for spark second if you have fuel pressure then third injector pulse if there's no spark check ignition coils, cam or crank sensor or P C M if you have spark and pulse and no fuel pressure then you have a lazy fuel pump but before changing parts check for all these symptoms. if this information has been helpful please let us know good luck

How to reset the antitheft system on a 2005 gmc canyon it turns but wont stay on what do i need to do an i need to know quick

If the truck has a factory anti-theft system, the system will not allow the engine to crank or start. So if it cranks, you have a different problem.
