Well the first question is did the alternator have a runaway voltage causing the voltage regulator to run higher than 14.4 volts? The first thing is break out the owners manual and locate all the fuse boxes, and check for your items that are not working, then check all of them one by one, replacing them back in there correct location. some small AC motors may not have capacitor........normally Blower motors are high speed and high start-up torque just like kitchen blender motors. These motors do not have capacitor although they work on AC domestic supply. They have a stater winding and a rotor winding. Rotor gets its supply from carbon brushes generally located at its bottom. They often get worn out and start sparking. One can easely get them replaced.

the starter is kind of hard to get at and you may have to get it out from under the vehicle but it is located at the back of the intake manifold on the drivers side its kinda tucked up under the intake near the trans mission.
