How to adjust the shifting cable on my 2000 dodge intrepid

If its an automatic, which im sure it is. You can adjust the cable by first that the vehicle doesn't have to be running to do this. Find the transmission after raising hood. Should be easy to see. On top of it you'll see a possible L - shaped lever bolted down with what should be your shift cable. Turn the ignition on but dont start. Undo the shift cable from the linkage and by hand turn the linkage down, shifting through all the gears till in low. Reach inside the car and put shifting lever in low. Hook shift cable back to linkage and from inside put in park. That should work

1985 150 ford aod transmission will not shift 3rd. and overdrive does not shift out 1st. or 2nd. till 3000rpms.

check your fluid level if its good find the rubber hose from transmission to carb or intake. make sure there is no kinks or cuts. if the rubber hose from the modulater valve on the transmission is not hooked up its not going to shift right hopefully its not your pump or stuck valves

2002 dodge diesel cuts out on highway till iset the cruise and it runs fine. Have replaced tps and it fixes it 4 about 3 months then it does it again.

It does sound like the APPS sensor is failed again, but put a scan tool on it and drive it to verify this part, better if a recording can be done and veiwed, also check lift pump pressure to make sure its at spec (15-18 psi), if out of spec, to low or nothing, you have ruined the cam reference plate in the back of the injector pump, and a timing code would have been set. many issues to deal with, all expensive, so seek pro help. GOOD LUCK, RDJRP

I have a dodge truck and the ac works good and

ac pressures are ok, is the return pipe as drier sweating?, if not recharge system, if so you have a problem your fin sensor not reading evap temp, scan tool would be nice to monitor temp, but easy to get at , behind glove box, held in by a rubber gromet, also jump cycling switch on drier to see if it runs longer then 5 mins, possible charge again. GOOD LUCK RDJRP

2003 dodge ram hemi throttle control problem

try getting some throttle body cleaner from you parts store, and give your throttle body a good cleaning. I just did that my self, after taking off the air filter unit off and the "HEMI" box (sorry i don't know what that's called) you will have good access to your throttle body. With the engine off, prop open the throttle body with a wedge, and you will see it black. When you spray the cleaner it will desovle right away, if not a soft brush maybe a old toothbrush and srcub. Also spray the air box, tube, and "HEMI" box. When you start it again it will run a little wierd but let it run for a couple minutes, turn it off then restart. Should be good as new.

2003 Dodge DSL 2500 transmission shifting problems

sounds like you should start by dropping the pan and changing the filter, put cheap fluid in it or reuse the old fluid if its not too bad bring it to a shop and have a transmission flush performed with a good flush machine your valve body is sticking and this should clear things up please rate -jeff
