You could have a vaccum line problem. all the air systems covers and lids are controlled by vaccum lines. check for cracked lines or broken connectors.

My ac will not blow alot of air through the vents, although it can be heard like it is pretty high or max.

Sounds like the vent selector is not switching it all the way to the vents. Its probally getting stuck on the floor output or defrost. Is it digital are cable driven? Try turning the fan speed to the lowest setting, switch it to defrost, then back to vent and turn the fan back up to hi.

Max air switches to defrost vents at aprox 25 miles an hour

Check the vacuum hose going to your heater shut off valve located in the heater hose. I believe it is gray in color. It will come off of valve and cause max a/c to blow out defrost. I hope this helps. Good luck.

if your ac is on max i believe it recirculates the air in the car by sucking air in by the defrost vents and blows it back out of the normal vents try to move the controls to make sure the that the shutters are working and make sure the ac is not on max by selecting the knob that has an arrow going through the little car instead of the circular one that might fix the problem

Ac blows through defroster on max

The Climate control system in your truck has a gate that changes postition in order to change the flow of air from your face to defrost. The door is actuated by vacuum. Yours is still working otherwise it would be on defrost all the time. So you do have partial vacuum to the actuator but not enough to keep it in position when on high. Sounds like you have a vacuum leak but not bad enough (yet) to totally disable the gate.

Check for vacuum leak going to air inlet door. Should be a white vacuum hose.
