Question about 2000 Dodge Caravan
Looks like it might be a fuse. I cannot locate the fuse for this problem. can you help. thank you
Yes, it is your clock spring in behind the steering wheel, disconnect the neg batt cable for ten minutes to discarge the squib in the steering wheel, you can do this your self, pay attention to wires and connectors, good steering wheel puller will help, reconnect the neg batt cable and the lights will go out, by the way , check with your nearest Chrysler dealer , possible recall or warranty. GOOD LUCK, RDJRP

Almost certainly what they call a "clock spring," which is actually the wiring (it only looks like a clock spring) that keeps the steering-wheel items (cruise, driver's air bag deployment system, and horn) in communication with the rest of the car. It's inside the steering column behind the wheel. It is moderately difficult and possibly dangerous to fix, because you have to remove a live air bag.
You probably noticed this thing happening intermittently at first.
It should cost about $260 to have someone fix.

I would say the cable that's connecting those things is not connected. I have the same thing in my car.

Check when you open the fuse box look inside the fuse cover you will see a diagram there with all the fuses and the corresponding number for each one
