I just put in 4 speakers in my 2008 hhr. Old speaker's were not working . I took old speaker mounts, ripped out old speakers and magnets. Mounted new speakers on old mounts. Easy job Maybe 3 hours. Be sure to get speaker adapters . Inside door skins pop out. New jvc speakers better than paper oems. Only 50 dollars for 4. On Amazon.

Need to use and OBD1 or OBD2 scanner. your vehicle is new. OBD2 scanner. auto zone usually will do it , free, same with some oil places like jiffy lube. call ahead and ask and youll find someone with an obd2 scanner that can reset it. usually the plug is under the steering wheel/above your feet/legs. Has a cover that will fold down where you can plug the tool in. Turn vehicle to Accessory after turned on. and he will reset it.

Sounds like they are mis-shaped due to heat or sun? Try sizing and fitting a matching color felt pad under the spinning vents...this should tighten the fitting and reduce the rattles...Hope this helps.

IN you situation I would consider the children first and get the car towed to a place of safety. The problem is that if the car won't start. is overheating and loosing coolant you have probably done serious damage to the engine . Blown head gasket. warped head blocked radiator and it the engine won't turn over seized pistons. Cheapest solution is a good unit from the wreckers.
