Question about 1989 Peugeot 405
You have got a crack in the fuel line or the seal on the fuel fillter is pulling in air and letting the fuel run back to the tank.

2 things it can be,there is a check valve in your system that is draining back to you tank,need to know what engine it is before I can tell you a location,the other thing it can be sucking air from a line ,but Im inclined to look for that one way check valve I think that is your problem because you dont say anything about a performance problem.
