Question about 1998 Chevrolet Camaro
Security light just went on blinking and for some reason car wont start, I tried to disconnect the battery , I thought some how it would reset but no. What should I do to to get the car started again? Ive also changed the ignition switch about 2 months ago , had no problems til now.Any info would be helpful ,Thanks.
Yea the car is in lock down mode. Something triggered the security system, and as a result, the computer engaged the ignition kill. Disconnecting the battery alone wont solve the problem. What I would suggest is call a local Chevy dealer and ask to talk to a technician, they know the procedure and can walk you throuogh it right over the phone.
