I've 1995 eagle talon esi non turbo 2.0 dohe I was driveing it and it stooped running it will turn over but won't start what can Ido

check the timming belt. it sounds like you have broken the timming belt remove the belt cover and make sure that the camshafts are turning when you are cranking the engine, if the belt has broken you will most likly have to remove the cylinder head and replace all the valves, when this engine brakes the timming belt the valves will hit the top of the pistons and bend the valves...good luck

I have a 91 eagle talon tsi fwd turbo stock and am working on my timing belt.. I seem to have all the marks lined up and the belt on and tight, but when I crank it over by hand it only turns about a...

It sure sounds like one of the timing marks was not lined up when you installed the belt. Did the belt break while the engine was running? If so then it is possible that one or more valves is bent and binding on a piston. Here is a picture of the tiing marks, You have to line up 4 different marks.

My 1995 eagle talon esi keeps trying to stall every time i let off the gas, just got oil change new altenator, and plug wires

Sounds like a vacuum problem, This is a fairly common problem right after servicing your car. Sometimes mechanics forget to re-plug your vacuum tube on your engine and you get the stalling unless you give it more gas. Just take it back to your mechanic. It's a real simple solution. He looks under the hood. He sees a loose tube. He plugs it in and off you go.

1995 Eagle Talon Esi 2.0L non turbo

If it was trying to start but just didn't turn over, it could be the same thing that just happened to me which left me stranded on the side of the road as well. I got some carb and choke cleaner and took off the throttle position sensor and sprayed it until it was free from the gunk buildup. I had a hard time getting one of the two bolts out so you may also have to get some sort of anti-seize spray to get them out.

simple!!!!!! pull the old one out and install the new one reverse of the disasembly. if that is to hard take it to a mechanic. besides that the water pump is on the opposite side of the timeing belt. the timeing belt doesnt cover any of the bolts for the water pump.

Engine needs to be replaced, and how to do it

is it an esi or tsi? if esi the swap is damn near impossible because the 4g63 sits reverse to the 420a and the mounts would have to be fabricated and welded on.... its a long **** process....
