That is either the Throttle Switch Circuit ( Manual Transmission Only) or the Throttle Position Sensor circuit (High Voltage Input) that is code 21 btw. im actually pulling code 21 and 22 right now. just purchased a new TPS going to install it tomorrow but my car surges when i push in the clutch and comming to a stop about 4 times and then will idle normal.
I believe that is the code for normal operation.

the check engine light may come on for several reasons. first in newer models the light is used because the fluid levels might be low. Another reason is that the ecm may have detected a fault in the sensor system because the parameters were exceeded. another reason is it could be that your fuel cap is not on tight enough. at this point it would hard for me to determine what the codes mean due to not having the manual for your vehicle. in the mean time my suggestion would be to have a full diagnostic done on the vehicle at a shop. some of those codes could be active and some might be stored and unless cleared they will remain and the light will stay on. considering your vehicle is running fine =I suspect that there not actually be a problem but the stored codes need to be reset in order for the light to go out... please rate this........thanks
