Only proper testing of the vehicle will answer your question
No point in guessing
You never stated what the problem was or any details
If your not the one working on it,doesn't matter, leave that

Test the voltage to groun for +12vdc with VOM, test the switch respective for dirty, open or NO continuity with the DVOM.

I replace 02-senior on 2005 grand caravan light is still on

That is because you used the name that is related
to a code & has nothing to do with the need to replace
a part

Codes are only to point you to the system with the fault

Then you component test using your reference
material & trouble charts

Study how OBD2 Systems work

Google the codes & read up

Stalls when outside air temp is over 100

A scan tool would be very helpful here, it may be as simple as a bad coolant temp sensor.

With a scantool you can watch the readings to see what is going on,
it could be a dirty throttle body or sensor.

My VOLVO 2002 S60 ABS and traction lights are on, how can I fix that?

This light usually comes on if you have a failed wheel speed sensor but these vehicles are common for the ABS module to fail causing the same problem. You can back probe the wires comming out of each wheel speed sensor with the wheel lifted in the air and check for ac voltage as you spin the wheel.

What ever sensor does not put out voltage needs to be replaced if they all seeem to work it is likely the ABS module. You can get a used abs module from www.car-parts.com sort by price and have them ship it to you. But before you replace any parts you would want to have the ABS module checked for codes at one of your local shops that has a high end scantool that can access those codes.

Hope this helps and just keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa.

The right hand indicator is constantly on not flashing, side lights not working and heater and air con not working

GET A GOOD FUSE TESTER, TEST EACH FUSE. THERE ARE 2 FUSEBOXES. ONE UNDER THE HOOD & ONE IN THE DASH. ALL FUSES CAN BE TESTED WHILE STILL IN PLACE. THERE ARE TEST POINTS FACING OUT. TURN ON IGNITION SWITCH FOR THIS TEST. POWER ON 1 SIDE, BAD FUSE POWER ON BOTH SIDES, GOOD FUSE. POWER ON NEITHER SIDE, SPARE FUSE.

What is the description of Code P1550 as defined on emissions test for 2000 Volvo S80?

P1550 "manufacturer controlled speed metering"
Basically the code means the ABS module either lost communication or there is a fault in either front WSS's.
You need to get a scantool to access the ABS to really diagnose it.

12v pwr point in the dash of my 2004 volvo xc90 does not work. The fuse looks good.

Make sure that the plug is of the right kind. If the fuse looks fine, test the power outlet with some tester to make sure that there's/n't power.

The worst scenario is that the wire has come loose.

Ecm codes 32 & 53

Problem Description: Code 32 means that the EGR diagnostic switch was not detected closed under the following conditions:

  • Coolant temperature greater than 80 C (176 F).
  • EGR duty cycle commanded by the ECM is greater than 50%.
  • Manifold pressure less than 25 kPa, (7" vacuum).
  • All conditions above must be met for about 8 seconds.

Diagnostic Aids: A Scantool can be used to check the diagnostic switch circuit. The Scantool should display "on" when vacuum is applied to the diagnostic switch. The switch should also be indicated as being closed whenever the ECM is commanding an EGR duty cycle of greater than 50%. EGR duty cycle can also be monitored by a Scantool.

"Scan" Diagnostics: Before using this test, check for ported vacuum to EGR solenoid, also check hoses for leaks or restrictions. There should be at least 7"hg vacuum at 2000 rpm.
Disconnect EGR solenoid vacuum harness. Rotate harness and reinstall only the EGR valve side. Ignition on, engine stopped. Install a hand held vacuum pump with gauge to mainfold side of EGR solenoid. Apply vacuum and observe EGR valve, the valve should not move.
Valve does not move Valve moves
