Question about 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
I have a 95' ford explorer. Changed alternator and battery car starts and stays running for now even though at times it sounds like it wants to die.
But now there's a loud humming and clicking noise and smells like something is burning under my hood but no smoke or fire what should I do. How can I get the humming and clicking to stop ???
Any advice is greatly appreciated
You could try looking at the idler pulleys or the air conditioner these 2 things can cause a noise like that, If you have to take the fan belt off make sure you draw a diagram so you know which way it goes, Sometimes you need to do this so you can spin the pulleys by hand to determin if it is one of them.
