I have an 84 chev caprice classic. the brake lights are the only lights not working. I tried to change all bulbs and fuses. this only made it look like 3 of the bulbs have the brake lights stuck on. but...

You got to be careful because sometimes your brake switch sensor can go bad and when it does whenever you hit your brakes your brakes work but your brake lights do not turn on but you see your brake lights on so I would definitely check the brake switch sensor that's probably your issue

1986 chev celebrity how to change a brake light bulb

If you open the trunk and remove the rear trunk trim, at the tail light area, you will see the fasteners that hold the tail light in position. Remove the fasteners and the tail light will come out, you can replace the bulb that is defective.
Good luck.

96 Chev Caprice Classic Interior lights won't shut off.

door pins may be bad, you doors may also be sagging at the hinges causing a bad connection, your lights will dim when you brake because of a draw on the battery, but it sounds like your pin switches are bad
