The first cable goes to the first piston then the second to the second and so on.
To check which one is which: remove cables and turn on starter while placing cable heads near car metal body. Sparks will be generated in 1 2 3 order.

I changed spark plugs and changed cylinder #1 on my 2006 cadillac srx but now its shaking what did I do wrong? It wasn't shaking before

How do you change a cylinder? That's generally a major machine-shop overhaul on non-aircraft engines, and you should have serviced rings and bearings for all of the other cylinders as well. I assume you meant you did something else on Cylinder #1. Did you mean you changed the spark plug cable, or was it the fuel injector? Note: if you mixed up spark plug cables, you will have at least two plugs firing at the wrong time. This will make the engine run poorly, if it runs at all. Look for a sticker somewhere in the engine compartment showing the firing order, and verify that each cylinder's spark plug wire is connected to the corresponding terminal on the distributor or coil pack.

Where are spark plugs and the 3 plug wires on 2006 Amanti

Under dash on driver's side
The front spark plugs are easy. To change the rear plugs the top mixing (plenum) chamber has to be removed. This involves removal of cables, electrical connectors, throttle body, vacuum hoses, & rear support brackets. Nasty job. Best left to a professional.
you can buy a book from a parts store whats the car doing that makes you think it needs plugs and wires

I want to change my spark plugs

First get the spark plugs, then get the right swivel socket for the spark plugs and a gapper for the gap of the spark plugs.

Remove the boot, from the first spark plug, and..

Unscrew each spark plug one at a time (making sure not to mix up the spark plug wires) using a ratchet and extension, and the swivel spark plug socket by turning counter clockwise.

Carefully gap each spark plug, if needed, and insert by hand and slowly screw in each spark plug, making sure not to cross thread.

Put the boot back on to each spark plug, making sure that you squeeze down the connector a little bit to ensure a good tight connection.

Remember, replace one spark plug at a time and replace the boot in order to not get the firing order mixed up.

How to change plugs?

Yes! Disconnect the neg. cable from your battery. Then pull one spark plug wire off and replace the spark plug, push plug wire back on spark plug. Do this one at a time so as to not screw up the wires and get the timing mixed up. When all have been replaced, put neg. cable back on battery. Good to go!
