If your pressure is too low this fix is quite expensive and not worth for older cars, so the first thing you should try to keep it running is to use THICKER OIL (W20-50 or such), + oil stabilizier (any good oil additive). I tried it in my Jeep,- helped right away.. Good luck

Will a z71four wheel drive with a 350 fit in my 84 chevy truck

yes it will fit. the only thing might be different is the oil pan. check and compare with the one that is in you vehicle now. the reason for a different oil pan is in the 4X4 is to clear the front differential.

Wow, sounds like head gasket &/or timing problem. First thing you need to do is a pressure test on cooling system to see if head gasket gone, then I'd do a compression test as well. Have you pulled any spark plugs to see what they look like?

84 s10 oil pressure

Yes that switch will work. So will a lot of other parts and gaskets. You have to make sure the engine size is the same. Parts are compatible with the same engine size. Have a drain pan and new oil ready in case the oil does come flowing out.
Please remember to rate this solution.

If cleaning the engine does not work, replace the oil press. sending unit. These senders on Jeeps have had a history of problems where they will work one day and not the next day.
