Question about 1998 BMW Z3 Roadster
Came on yesterday and have no idea why. Car's running fine. I checked the water and oil and they're both okay. Was driving through some pretty heavy rains yesterday if that makes a difference.
Take the car to an autoparts store and have them use a scan tool to retrieve any fault codes stored in the car's computer. Most parts stores will perform the scan at no charge. The light comes on when the computer has detected a fault in one of the car's systems. Getting the codes will help identify any problems/potential problems that the computer has identified. Hope this helped and best wishes.
