Test for power(using a voltmeter) at the horn's connectors while having another person press on the horn. If there is power, replace the horn!! If not, check the steering wheel, the horn switch may need replacement or repair. Hopefully this helps

My radio cd and my horn not working tried changing fuses nothing happening what else can i do

first of all there will be 2 fuses for you cd player 1 in your fuse box and the other 1 in the back of the cd player have you checked them both ? as for your horn if the fuse is okay it could be a bad earth wire or the horn as gone itself best thing to do is strip the horn off and try it via a power pack put a pop rivet on the live and earth handles on power pack and touch the terminals on the horn if it does not blow you know the horn is buggered if it does blow you know it is a bad earth some where along the line. hope info is usefull

My 1997 Nissan pickup's horn doesn't work. Changed fuse and relay and still nothing.

try supplying power to the horn with a jumper wire from the battery. If the horn still does not work the horn is bad.

If the horn works you'll need to take the plastic covers off of the steering column and remove the airbag. You'll want to check continuity between the light green/black wire on the back side of the clock spring and the horn switch. If there is no continuity you need a clock spring. If there is continuity than the horn switch is bad.

My 2003 Alero's horn doesn't work. Checked the fuse and it was fine, replaced the relay and nothing changed. Any ideas?

Check with a voltmeter that current actually reaches the horn connectors. If it does receive electricity, then the horn has blown..(no pun). If it doesn't receive electricity then the cable has been severed somewhere between the fuse and the horn.

Horn , power windows and sunroof all stoped working on 2007 changed horn fuse and as soon as i used the horn the fuse blew again

This wold indicate that you have a shorted horn circuit. Generally, the horn circuit has a negative contact at the steering wheel, meaning when you push the button, it grounds (-) the sysem causing the relay out in the engine compartment area to provide 12V (+) directly to the horn. If nothing else causes the fuse to blow, the pwr window/sunroof., then either the relay itself is shorting out or a wire to the horn is grounding, or you have a bad horn. (spend a few fuses & save time, unplug the relay, replace the fuse & press the horn button & see if the fuse blows. Next, plug in the relay & do the same for the horn)

Generally it won't be the wire from the horn button or the horn would be working continually. Your owners manual should tell you where the relay is & you could see if you notice any unusual appearance to the case, as well as following the wiring from there to the horn, to see if any damage is apparent. IE: if the horn is located in the front grill area or near a opening in the fenderwell, does it appear a rock or something has hit it or any wiring causing damage. With a vehicle as new as yours, if it isn't obvious damage, I would suspect the relay. good luck

Power locks, windows, and horn do not work on 2002 ford focus se

Owner's manual should have a diagram of the fuse panel. Need to find which fuses control these items and check the fuses.

Horn in 1990 Cadillac Seville doesnt work

If you hear the relay clicking, and even faint horn, check the connections on the horns themselves, there are probably two. If they seem okay then take a piece of wire and jump from +power to the horn terminal. Be prepared because if it works it will be very loud, and I know more than one person who's hit his head on the hood doing this. If it doesn't work, replace the horns. Hope this helps. Cheers.
