Question about 2000 Daewoo Nubira

Slow turn over after replacing starter, alternator & battery

I recently replaced both the starter, alternator and battery on my 2000 daewoo nubira. After having problems with the car cranking over really slow, I pulled all 4 spark plugs to make sure I was getting spark, which I am. I am still having problems with the car turning over really slow, with no help from a jump box nor another vehicle jump. I'm not sure what my next move would be, please help, thanks.

Sometimes battery cables can short the circuit; try getting them away from any metal or each other.

Starting Problem

Fully charge the battery and see if it starts like it should. If your battery is fully charged, but still turns over slowly, its your starter. If using a fully charged battery solves your problem, its your alternator.

The battery and alternator may have been ok.
You have a fuse or fuseable link between the alternator and battery to protect it. If you have battery voltage at the battery post and not at the alternator post, there is a break in that circuit.
If the battery cable goes to the starter, the alternator wire may go from there and that could be where the fuseable link is.
Fuseable links are special thin wires that act like fuses.

When I go to start my car, it just clicks and wont start. I have power (lights, interior lights, radio, etc.)

You have a bad starter, you can take it out & have it checked at autozone or any kind of auto parts store.

I have just replaced my battery for my 2000 leganza and my car still keeps dying only to not start again like its a dead battery, so i want to replace my alternator. Also my timing belt needs replaced and...

You can have the alternator tested for free at your local parts store...easier if you can drive it to the auto parts store:) Sounds like it is the alternator...in rare cases the starter can have a short that causes this drain...but usually takes overnight...my guess again is the alternator...Is the timing belt scheduled for a change? This repair is not for the meek...Hope this helps.

When i start my 02 300m,sometimes it sounds like it doesn't want to turn over.Has like a slow dragging sound

Sounds like your battery is starting to go bad, not producing enough amps to turn the starter over properly. Have your battery tested and replace if below specs.

When starting car starter turns engine over slow. battery seems to be good unless it doesnt have enough cranking amps. battery test is good altenator working good

It sounds like the battery don't have the cranking amps needed to turn the engine over fast enough. Even though it is starting, soon it will drain more and won't start.
