The brake light switch should be located at the base / pivot point of the brake pedal switch, under the dashboard. There may be two switches - one for the brake lights and one for the cruise control.

SOURCE: AC BLOWER FAN STAYS ON

When does it go off (the fan). I assume it does, sooner or later, go off? Some blowers (high-end vehicles) stay on a little longer to clear moisture, but if this just started (hasn't happened since day one) then I would assume it is a short (pray it isn't) or the blower cutoff relay/blower motor relay. If neither relay is available for that car, it could be built-in to the motor. Then, try to unhook the motor and put a tester on the connection plug going into the motor and see if you can get power with the car on, and watch it disappear once the car is turned off, that indicates it is the motor or the resistor atop the motor.

SOURCE: 2005 h2 wipers run all the time

There was a recall on the suv`s but I`m not sure the h2`s were included. The fix was the replacement of the wiper motor module which is on the motor. All you have to do is remove the cover on the wiper motor and the module is there.Just unplug it and pry it out with a small screw driver. You can get a module from the dealership parts department.Just follow the directions.Hope this helps.Good luck.

04 Hummer H2 break lights and cruise control went out at the same time. I replaced bulbs, fuses, and break light switch. Top break bar still works. Any opinions?

Did you use a test light to check for voltage at the brake fuse circuit. You have two brake fuses. The second one is in ip fuse block, The voltage, for that one, goes hot when you step on the brake.

  • Most commonly a stuck brake bad will cause the hydraulic fluid to boil and expend and then the brake pedal won't hardly move.
  • But all considering you need to replace the brake booster.

Cant get my 2008 hummer h2 to shift out of park

1 of 2 things are going on, either the brake light switch is malfunctioning or the solenoid in the shifter assembly. when you apply the brake, you should hear a light click in the centre console allowing the shifter to release. if this is not heard, inspect the fuse block for burned fuses(unlikely but possible). next make sure your brake lights are working. if they are working it is perhaps the solenoid in the console itself. sometimes a little wd-40 works. but you need to get to it directly.

Do your brake lights work? It might be the brake switch or the shift interlock solenoid.
