Do not touch this, let a shop perform it.. or at least let the shop diagnose it. then you may be able to better answer your question. A code is just a code. It not always part specific. Sometimes a shop will have to take it apart to diagnose which in that case their already there. At least now you have a guarantee if they repair it. You may have a piece of varnish somewhere that is blocking the control unit. Lots of small parts involved. If you miss or misplace one item you will most likely be replacing the whole control unit.

06 Pacifica, car died and won't start. Replaced 2 sensors with no success, new codes p0113,p0700,p0562. Please help.

Have you gotten the codes translated? Call an Auto Parts store, they can tell you what codes mean, or call a Chrysler dealership, talk to a mechanic in service and ask them.

My 2004 nissan maima fails to start on the first try. doesnt happen every time, but frequency is increasing. Been told it is probably a fuel line issue bu a backyard mechanic. Any ideas??

do you have a check engine light on?? If so, have the vehicle scanned at autozone for the error code. If it isn't on, this may be caused by faulty crankshaft or camshaft position sensor. Cam sensor controls firing and crank sensor controls fuel. This issue needs to be physically diagnosed!!

What does the PO700 code mean on the 06 mega cab 2500 5.7 hemi

That is a generic TCM malfunction code.
It means that something is wrong with your transmission control module. Not enough to pinpoint a specific circuit or sensor

My '06 dodge ram engine light just came on yesterday. Very clean truck engine no problems and fresh oil. What could be the issue?

Go here and it will tell you how to get your codes. Actually on an 06 you can just turn the ignition on and off 3 times (dont crank the engine) and the codes will show up on your odometer. But here are all the codes. PS you can get a manual on for free too.

Engine light on

what is the code? by the way the all the solenoids for the trans are on the inside if the trans, I know of no car that has these on the outside since they control hydraulic fluid passages, suggest you have another shop look at this, the actual labor to relace the solenoids is about 2 hours.

I put in a used body control modual for my 2002 monte carlo and it says its locked

never put in used modules relays or fuses , you have no idea howe long they will last or how they will affect your vehicle its just a bad practice regardless of what backyard mechanics might tell you , go buy the new one and refit and then see what happens

How hard is it to replace a auto trans in a 2000 neon. Can it be done by a backyard mechanic (me).

It can be done by a backyard mechanic as long as you have the tools and the knowledge but if not, leave it up to a qualified mechanic as you can end up with a bigger bill if you don't do it right

If the engine light remains on constantly then there is a code set telling you what the problem is. I suggest you find a mechanic who can read the code telling you the problem. It may not be noticeable to you but may cut your mileage or may be harming other sensors or parts.
