Question about 1996 Buick Park Avenue

Open Question

No air from center vents

I have a 1996 Buick Park Avenue. No air comes from the center vents when mid is selected for air flow location. I tried to follow and see if any hoses had fallen off or had any noticable hose leaks. Any suggestions? PLEASE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

It's one of the blend door motor drive gears that has cracked. As the motors try to move the blend doors to divert the air flow, the gear attached to them slips on the drive shaft. You need to remove them, inspect for the broken or cracked drive gear and replace them. This is a very common problem with these older GM vehicles.

Hot Air coming out of the Driver side mid vents when A/C in on passenger side?

You have a defective temp mode actuator. There is one for the drivers side (located under the dash just to the right of the gas pedal) and a separate one for passenger side

I have a 96 buick park avenue that the ac doesn't work. No air comes out of the vents when I turn it on

If the blower is working, your door that controls hot/cold air may be stuck. If it is not, check your fuses. If it is the blend control, you can reach behind the glove box and manually try to open.

No air flow from ip vents.

There is either a problem with vacuum to a actuator for the blend doors or a vacuum problem to the a/c programmer. It is also possible that the a/c programmer "control head" is bad.

1998 buick park avenue drivers side blows cold, passenger side hot

sounds like the drivers temp door actuator is not working should be located on the drivers side of the air box down by the gas pedal or center dash area
