Jack up the car and support on the frame with two jack stands remove spash guard if equiped under front of motor, top off the coolant ,run the car for ten minutes then shut the car off crawl under the car with a light and look to see the general area where it is leaking, if it is leaking from the lower radiator hose drain the coolant from the drain petcock plug at the base of the radiator and unscrew the lower hose clamp and with a pair of channel lock pliers turn the hose at the part where the clamp was in order to get it unstuck careful the coolant left in the hose may be hot always wear safety glasses when working under the vehicle do the same to the hose that goes to the radiator, if the leak appears to be coming off the middle lower drive pulley or oil pan the water pump probably needs to be replace and is a large job which may be beyond your scope.

Check all of your coolant hoses and clamps to make sure they are tight and you dont have any cracked hoses , if not you might have a leak in your radiator

How's your engine coolant level? If you've got a water pump leaking coolant, your belt will squeak, as the pump will leak the coolant directly onto the belt. You'll see the spray pattern under the hood if it's been going on for a while.

I have a 1991 buick park ave my car doesnt over heat but mu coolant lights comes and i guess on the left side of the engine it has a container like for wenshield water but its not do i poor coolant in that...

If the coolant light comes on & your
coolant bottle is empty,your loosing
coolant somewhere

Most likely an intake gasket or head gasket

Your statement --- it doesn't over heat
Then why is the coolant light on ??

Fill the container and have it checked
at a repair shop

Where is the drain for the air conditioner? I have water in the passenger compartment. 1997 Park Ave.

Look under the car at the firewall. there should be a small plastic or rubber hose sticking down on the right hand side. Gently slide a pen or into it, and dislodge the dirt. A bunch of water usually comes out quick, so be ready to get out of the way.

Hope helps (remember rated and comment this).

You probably have a service engine light on too. It sounds like your CTS (coolant temp sensor) isn't working and causing the injectors to run rich.
