Hi,

Thanks for using fixya!

The problem that you are encountering right now has something to do with the primary and secondary clutch cylinder. just buy repair kits for both primary and secondary clutch cylinder. It will only cost you around $20 for both kits

Have a nice day.

We understand that your problem is: 92 Jeep

This is a typical master cylinder failure. PRE bleed a new m/c and install that.

Transmisson ingages in reverse car won't move

your transmission is slipping when its cold. when it warms up the parts inside expand and take up the slack that's caused by the clutches and bands inside being worn. start by checking the trans. fluid level and condition. if it's low, add fluid. if it's brown or black or sparkly, your transmission is junk and needs to be rebuilt or replaced.

Bleed Clutch @ slave cyl.

most clutch and slave cyinders bleed by constantly working the clutch pedal. its tiring and can be a long process. Also keep an eye on the fluid level because u are trying to remove the air in the line and not let additinal air in.

What i have done before is pump pedal slowly aboout 10 times then check the fluid level and add if needed. repeat untill the level does not need to be topped off again. Best done with 2 ppl as u can rotate the pedal pumping duty.

Clutch adjustment 95 Jeep YJ

no, there is no clutch adjustment. the clutch is hydraulic, and self adjusting, there are several things that can go wrong with these. with normal wear the fluid can run low allowing air into the system, causing a weak peddle. they can also develop leaks in the master and slave cylinders resulting in fluid loss also causing a weak peddle leading to an inopperative clutch. check the fluid level in the clucth master cylinder(next to the brake master cylinder. if it is empty, refill it(it takes brake fluid) then cycle the clutch peddle a few times and check for leaks. if there is air trapped in the line the clutch will need to be bled. there is a bleeder screw on top of the slave cylinder, bleed it just like bleeding brakes.
