Take the wheel off and check the brake pads, they are probably worn down, and the metal backing on the disc brake pad is rubbing against the rotor. If that is the case, the rotor will need to be replaced, or turned down if it isn't too bad.

Abslight stays on. How to fix? This is a2007trailblazer?

First you need to have EBCM - electronic brake control module check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . If the light is on there is a code stored . I think most part stores can do this and for free . After you find out what code is stored , looking up that code in service repair information for diagnostic trouble shooting chart would be next step . There are a few codes too.
DTC C0035 or C0040
DTC C0045 or C0050
DTC C0110
DTC C0131
DTC C0161
DTC C0186
DTC C0196
DTC C0201
DTC C0240
DTC C0241 or P0856
DTC C0244 or P1689
DTC C0245
DTC C0283
DTC C0287
DTC C0290 or C0292
DTC C0455
DTC C0550
DTC C0558

Find the code do the diagnostic's , fix the problem , wiring issue's , a sensor , bad module ,what ever it is . The light will go out then . Here is a sample of code discription .
• DTC C0035 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
• DTC C0040 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

Abs light on/grinding and clunking in turns on front left side of 2003 ford explorer

Sounds like left front loose wheel bearing knocking ABS sensor out of range causing ABS light to come on and causing grind noise at same location. Grinding noise is probably rotor rubbing on calipar.

Grinding noise and now ABS light stays on. 2007

although 33k is low mileage it sounds like you have a bad wheel bearing hub assembly.

-I test drove a 2000 Silverado 4x4 which had 149,000 miles on it today and I am concerned with the noise I heard coming from the rear end of the truck. How does the rear ends hold up in these trucks? Are...

If it's a "whining" , "grinding" or "roaring" noise - stay away from it ! 149,000 is a lot of miles for any vehicle, especially a 4x4 that could've been off-road and abused a lot.

I have a 2001 impala ---the check engine light is on and the abs light is on-----when i drive it --i hear a grinding noise----what could be the problem?

Why would you be using any vehicle, with two check lights on?

Those type of lights have been on vehicles for over 25 years

Surely you know, you have a possible system failure,at least with the ABS

Now there is no excuse for driving with a grinding noise.
That with the ABS Lamp on ,sounds like a bad wheel bearing.

Abs light stays on

Need to scan system for codes. Most likely cause is abs module or speed sensor. If you hear a constant noise from the driver side of vehicle it is most likely the abs module.

2002 Chevy venture indicator trouble

Try disconnecting your battery for about 30 sec to reset the ABS computer. You probly have a trouble code stored in the ABS computer and the lights are letting you know there was a problem. If the light stays on after you reset computer then you will have to pull code to troubleshoot problem.
