    Would not be surprised to see a $450 bill on that repair...do I agree with it, no, but that's a good "ballpark" #.

Its just a gestament based on my experience with the cost of submersible electric tank pumps costing around $150 so allow around 200bucks for pump & labour although some pumps are over $300

It appears to be right above crankshaft pulley. Your lower radiator hose should go to the pump.

release the pressure firs like take gas cap off there are some speacil tools called quick release tools some people just use a small screwdriver to pop it off it should be on driver side by the drivers door under neath the car if its a four door this driver door im talking about

How do I replace my fuel level sensor on a 2000 buick le sabre? The gauge jumps up and down or eithet stays on full.


Access via trunk, remove carpet and find inspection cover, remove to access fuel level sending unit which is attached to the fuel pump.
