Question about 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier
I am building a ''mini-stock'' 98 cavalier. I need to overide anti-theft. I was told by local dealer a magnet and or reducing volts will work. Can I get a wiring schematic or purchace device to accomplish this?
The easiest way would be to disasemble the stearing cloume and cut the yellow wires conected to the ingnition lock and install a resitor the same value as the lock itself. To get that value, take you volt ohm meter and measure the ohms of the switch in the on position before you cut the wires. you will be installing the resitor into the wires not the switch.
