Hi , Well Good News is I Have And Answer, ONE Of THREE PROBLEMS Is Happening.
1. Tire Has A Broken BELT in it( NEW or OLD Tire) this Causes A BULGE on it and WILL Shake
The STEERING WHEEL.
2. A BENT RIM (WHEEL) Can Be Determined By Wheel Balancing and INFORMING The Shop
Of These Suspicions.
3. A BRAKE ROTOR That has Excessive RUNNOUT Witch can Best be discribed as (Like a
Bent Bike Tire) and the Brake Pads are BITING Harder where the BEND IS.
Try These few you WILL Find The Problem Here. Have A Good Day !
A BENT Wheel Bearing HUB Assimbly will lso Cause this to Happen, But it TAKES A HARD BLOW to a CURB or PotHole.
With All Due Respect to Others, this Problem Has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do With Wheel ALIGNMENT, that's Not to Say That YOUR Front Wheel ALIGNMENT IS GOOD OR BAD its Just that A SHAKING Steering Wheel Has NO RELATION to WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
You Have 1 of the 3 Problems That I Stated Earlier

The cause could probably your wheel alignment and needs to be balanced.
It also could be a problem with the power steering component. Or it could
be things in your suspension called track-rods, or it could be the
bushes.
Better have it checked by a mechanic.
I would check your front tires for any defects if there is none noticeable I would get a front end alignment. Most of the time you can tell if you need a alignment if your car pulls to either the right or left while driving. Hope this helps.
