Question about 2001 Isuzu Rodeo
I added freon to my car and thinking it would do it some good it now puts out warm and cold air when I have the a.c running goes cold for a minute or two then warm then back to cold and so on. Anyone else have this problem and how can it be fixed. Thanx
Are you using the street way using the single can method? When your adding the freon does the fan by the radiator come on and is the ac compressor engageing? I am not sure if the car ur referring to has a sight glass but if your system is empty you might be completely out of freon and have a major leak. adding the freon will cause the compressor to come on only for a short while adding more will keep it engauged adding too much will shut it down. make sure the fan is coming on by the radiator.

It sounds like by adding refrigerant to the system it may be over pressurizing. When this happens it will cycle on and off.
You will need to hook up a set of manifold gauges and monitor the high and low pressures to see what is happening.
