Sounds Pretty much Like it May be that the COIL is NOT RECEIVING Proper SYGNAL From 1. CRANK SENSOR or 2. CAM SENSOR OR COIL PACK is Generating Too WEAK Of A SPARK. Feel free to Peply With Questions.

I changed spark plugs on my 01 jeep grand cherokee it was running but turned off on me now it wont start anymore.

which engine?
2001 WJ , jeep.
wrong spark plugs!
gapped wrong!
wrong wire order?
do tell engine you have there.
do tell park plug brand and numbers.
do tell if engine has coil packs, how many, and how you wired them back..
now answering for USA cars, (not exports. or those jeeps made in Europe. )

the 4.0L engine with the 3 coil rack pack? with 6 spark wire sets?
the 4.7liter has 6 coil packs coil over plug COPS.
that can not be wired wrong but could be unplugged in primary side.

my guess, wrong parts, wrong gap
or not reconnected right.
if spark is lost, scan the PCM cranking, look for DTCs/

Why car my car start?

No spark? Then there is probably no signal to trigger the spark. Possible causes:
1) Cam position sensor.
2) Crank position sensor (you replaced it)
3) Coils (already replaced)
3) Wiring and connections to and from coils (bad grounding points or bad live feeds)

Suggestion: Stop the guessing and spending with "probable" causes. Have the car scannned for error codes and start from scratch according to error codes.

No spark crank sensor works COIL WORKS BUT WONT START THE ENGIAN LIGHT FLASHES 3 to 4 times please tell me whats wrong and why it does not start

You have the old school check engine light, which you turn your key without cranking fully on off three times it will give two digit codes separated by pause ending in five five meaning end of codes.

1991 geo tracker wont start. replaced ECU, Fuel Relay, Main Relay, Distributor, Cap And Rotor, Plugs, Wires, Igniter, Coil, Still No Spark And No Fuel

wow, you guessed that many times? you must be broke.
want to diagnose it, then post here.
91 is easy car to fix. sure it.
i have 100% docs. and tools. and are here too.
cranks but no start
see test 4, a key test.

a: do you have spark at the coil?, not the spark plugs the COIL.??
b: yes, then dizzy is timed wrong or cam timed wrong.
if cam timed wrong, both will be., wrong.
the cam that spins will never kill spark.
the funny folks down 12,000, SouthWest, make rotors that are junk (if you get my drift, we call these C4 parts.)
and can be inserted 3 ways, not BOSCH. only 1 way works.
That is why you check spark at the coil, so you dont get lost.

c: the ECU cuts fuel when spark is dead, so fiddling fuel
is a total waste of time and cash.
d: the ECU tells you , if ether key signals are bad.
why not check for code (DTC) 41, and 42 happen. cranking for 5 long seconds.
here is a forum to get help
interactive live help, and not all the bad noob guessing ...

did you sell if for scrap yet?
I hope not.

1994 gmc pickup turns over wont start fuel pump replaced 1yr ago plugs, rotor cap, distributor cap and plug wires replaced yesterday still wont start

Do you have a little screw driver? there is a fuel pressure test port take the cap out now be carefull when you do this crank it and at the same time press the shrader does gas come out like alotnot just a little but alot if it does then the fuel pump works now if it dribbles then your fuel pump failed,Okay if the fuel pump works the only thing that is left is the coil and ignition control module, before you decide to do the module or the coil the number on reason for it not to start is connection to the coil I see this all the time go to the coil connection and have some one crank it while you wiggle it and see if it start if it still doesnt start youll just have to test for spark and if there is no spark your best solution is to replace the whole distributor why because there is a relector that has always failed even when it gives spark. and fuel because as a timed unit it gave fuel and spark at the wrong time here use the picture included in #1 wiggle connection #2 check for sparkcansmo_0.png

Check for a bad distributor cap and or rotor..........a bad cap and or rotor can caues firing (cross fire)across the terminals and introduce spark to the wrong cylinders at the wrong time.......
