Hey Opie , how are thing's in Mayberry ? Ha Ha Ha , bet you get that a lot .
The ignition will not turn over.
You mean the starter will not turn over ? When you turn the key to the start position nothing happens ? The starter doesn't spin the engine .
Could be a few reasons . High resistance in the starting circuits . Do you have and know how to use a volt meter ? Doing voltage drop testing on the starter motor , cables .
Starter Voltage Drop
Looking at a wiring diagram and testing the control side of the starter circuit , relay ,ignition switch , wiring etc... Do you know what a wiring diagram is and how to read one ? Video's on youtube showing how to understand diagrams . Here is a web site for free wiring diagrams . http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html
Enter vehicle info. Year , make , model and engine size. Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on starting . Click the search button then the blue links one at a time . Do you have a manual or automatic transmission ? Could have a bad clutch switch if manual trans or park neutral safety switch with automatic trans .
Check out some videos on basic automotive electrical testing .

Look under the dash on passenger side and just to the left of the blower motor housing you will see the 4WD control module.Remove the 2 screws holding the module and let it hang down and your resistors are behind this.Remove the 2 screws holding the resistors and remove.
Now I am assuming you have manual climate control and not electonic.
