Sounds like the plastic gears on the window motor have wore out and may be stripped or the window is partially off track.

yes and know, what do you know about switches. You should Ohm them out with a Ohmmeter. It will depend on if they are single pole double throw, double pole double throw, and on and on.
here is a guide. http://www.ehow.com/how_5371933_test-switch-ohm-meter.html
Its the same with a press switch. you just need to remember they have a channel. Meaning a division. So the two poles on the left (for example) will always work. What you want is a connection across the channel when the switch is pressed. Remember no voltage when Ohming.
Also your window. In some cars and trucks the window arm itself has to be in a certain position to go up or down. Usually is all the way down or up. (just a side note, usually nothing to concern yourself with)
So you can roll is down but not up. Does the motor keep going until you press the button again, then is is the case or gears. You can buy them for the motor but your better off replacing the whole thing.
If is only goes down or up, then the bushings are bad or warn. Does it work sometimes if you hit it or the planet align. Then the bushings. They are easy to change, and cheap, but if you don't know how to, get the new part with arm. Its a good rule of thumb because if that is broken, then the arm could be next.

If its the switch. You can use them universally you just need to find the right poles to hook them to, and you can only know that if you Ohm it, or it says on the instructions. Two can look the same and act different.

To check the bushings. There should be a slot that looks like you need a quarter to open it. DO that if you can and look inside (if there is a slot at all some dont have them) is the rubber or metal bearings moving all over or look broken, then they are.
Hope it helps

Rear passanger side window won't go up or down

Window regulator most likely but before changing it out take the door panel off and apply current to the contacts of the actualy regulator. If the window goes up then switch the contacts and now it will go down. If nothing then regulator (window motor) is bad. If it works then your master control switch for all the windows is going bad.

It sounds like the Power Window Motor is bad, if it was a wiring issue it would either work or not work, it wouldn't matter what position (up or down) the window was moving in. Replace the motor and it should work fine.

I would check to see if the master switch is sending power to the window motors. Not sure that the unlock is related. The window regulators have been a problem for these vehicles and may need to be replaced

Either the switch or the motor. . Remove the switch bypass it and see if the window moves . If it does its the switch if it doesn't its the motor.
