No such thing as A/C coolant. Are you talking about freon? If so, get it serviced at a reputable place as you don't know how low you are, and how much you need to put in. If you don't do it correctly, you will break something else.

Coolant

Chrysler makes their own special brand but if you check with a parts store, they can tell you what's safe to use. I top off my 2007 Town and ccountry with Prestone - the type that mixes with any coolant. Make sure you put 1/2 water and 1/2 coolant in when you refill.

WHERE DO I PUT THE WATER

You don't put water anywhere

If you have a coolant system leak, you have it repaired

If your adding to the system for some reason, you add a 50/50 or 60/40 mix of coolant & distilled water

Ask your neighbor to show you where the coolant mix goes, every car is different

I have a 2002 buick lesabre and the water pump was changes about a month ago. The car ran fine. The last week, the car is temp gauge is reading hot very fast. I dont smell any coolant and it doenst sm

some times when the water pump is changed you gotta fill up the radiator with coolant, run the engine until it gets hot, shut off the car and wait until the car cools down to put more coolant because some air may stay trapped inside and by following this steps you get rid of the air trapped inside.
try this:
1) when the car is cool take the cap of the radiator off and see if it's full. if it isn't, with the car still off, put some coolant until it gets full.

2) once the radiator is full, start your car and wait to see if the coolant goes down the radiator. if it does, keep putting coolant until it doesn't take any more.

Hope to be useful.

I need to put coolant in my mazada 3,I can't figure out where it goes

it goes in the coolant overfow tank. Put the funnel in the top of the coolant tank and pour the coolant mixture into the funnel until the tank is filled to cold line when engine is cold. good-day !

The high temp gauge will max out and then back to normal. Also the heat will not work then kick in all of a sudden.

Let me guess...When the temp gauge goes hot, the heater goes cold, and vice versa? Check your coolant level first in the radiator (when the engine is COLD) and also in the overflow reservoir. ONLY use a 50/50 mix of coolant and water, using the same COLOR coolant that is already in the radiator (if it's green, buy green, if it's orange/red, buy orange/red). Next thing to have checked/replaced is the thermostat which is inside the cooling system of the engine. Finally, and the most expensive, have the water pump checked/replaced.

I would put my money on low coolant level in the radiator. As the engine heats up, the coolant will "surge" through the system as the water pump tries to **** air through the system due to low coolant level. If the coolant isn't flowing, the heat can't escape the engine block and it starts to overheat.

1996 Legacy Overheating It has coolant and both fans are working. Overheats after about 10 min of driving. Checked oil was a little low put 1 liter in. Radiator has pressure, opened when hot and coolant...

Costs nothing to try this, just in case coolant level was low when or after bottle changed, and you got an airlock. Start car when cold, rad cap off and heater on. Now let in run until it comes up to normal operating temperatures and rad fan(s) kick on and off, 2 or 3 times, and add coolant to proper level in rad if it goes down during process. Then after that, put rad cap back on, fill coolant return bottle to proper level and try it. Quite often when re-filling an engine cooling system, people forget to turn on heater to get coolant circulating through the heater core.
