Not sure if you sloved the problem yet, but i had the same problem in my 93 and i found out the problem was a broken wire in the wireing harness that goes thru the drivers door. all the opening and closing broke it. i have fixed three others since. hope this helps.

You may have pulled a fuse on the security system and immobilizer. If that is the case, you need to reset.

What fuse works with the electric windows in my 93 jeep grand cherokee? It was more like a metal fuse when I took it out and lost it. It was on the passenger side fuse box panel.....

The power windows in your vehicle do not have a fuse. The power window circuit is protected by a 30-Amp self-resetting circuit breaker.

Free fuse box diagram for 93 jeep grand cherokee

The position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you are looking for a blown fuse and you don't come right with the above, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. It is not a difficult task, especially with a small pair of pliers.

Try checking the fuse for it or the relay by swaping it with the other side if it works then suspect a bad relay or fuse.

2004 jeep grand cherokee special edition, windows won't work, doors won't lock (except with key) auto door locks doesn't work either, and dimmer switch for dash whenever turned on all interior lights go on...

sounds like a blown relay and also a blown fuse or two, check the relays under the bonnet and under the dash, you will surely find a broken/worn/burnt out one, replace it (not sure which one it is but they renge from £3/$5 to about £12 - $25 then replace the fuses, if there is no bad relay then just replace any blown fuses - hopefully it's just a worn out relay and not something wrong with the windows or locks that blew the relay in the first place -
